Amuses-Bouches, etc....

If you ever want to see me search for words and put me ill at ease, ask for my menu. An itemized list of services or acts is so far from my vision of what I chose to offer as a companion that I don't know what to answer. A menu just doesn't seem to be a good standard to set - it strikes me as impersonal, and inadequate to establish if a meeting will be pleasant and fulfilling. If anything, I'm closer to a private chef than a crowded Yelp reviewed hot spot. If I prepare the same experience day in and day out, I'll get bored of it - and it risks becoming boring. So how do you make sure you'll be meeting up with someone who has the same tastes as you? Contrary to what many think, setting up a first encounter is simple enough, actually. Not very different of getting any other kind of first contact with someone - as long as politeness and respect are present, I'm personally very open to meeting with people of various backgrounds.  My open mindedness do

If you would have told me a few years back that I'd come to cherish habits, I would have scoffed. Even nowadays, it seems like a strange consideration, and yet, here I am. My schedule is in general erratic and unpredictable, changing with the seasons and with where my wanderlust swept me away this time. Yet, there are a few things that don't change - or simply take on different nuances. Coffee, in the morning - often a time to reflect, the first cup is always a magic moment. Contemplating the day ahead and practicing gratefulness. It's simply easier for me to be grateful with a warm beverage in my hands. When on extended stays somewhere I bring my burr grinder and french press. Weirdly enough, I heard they're not commonly used in France... Maybe one day I'll visit Europe and fact check! Yoga - Every once in a while, I take on a bloc of more regular practice. I make a commitment for a fixed number of days and stick to it. It allows me to see what it take

. . A few words by me to accompany the images. A little reveal, if you will . . . . . . . Limits bore me, in some ways. I think of myself as a free spirit, young demoiselle sucking the sap out of life and chewing with her mouth open - in private only. In public, I'm naturally almost shy. Introvert but lover of humanity, I prefer discretion to glitz and glamour. I prefer a candle lit dinner in good company to the latest hashtag food trend. Not one to be stuck inside though, I long for the mountains, the ocean and am always ready to go on adventures. Wanderlust lives deep within my heart. I'm well-traveled and perfectly bilingual in French and English, although when I'm tired I've been said to have a faint francophone accent. I also love to wear berets so I guess there's no hiding my first language! I've had the pleasure of visiting Bali, India, Costa Rica, Australia, Iceland and a bit of the West Coast in the past
